The upgrade to a suite was a nice surprise.
Our grandson had to sleep on a hide-a-bed, which was uncomfortable for him. It was inconvenient to move the coffee maker into the bathroom. He had to walk through my bedroom to get to the bathroom. this was quite bothersome during the night.

Staying here was awesome! We had a great time with easy access to outdoor adventures like bowling, roller-skating, and exploring the beautiful trails. The kitchen facilities were helpful for meals with friends, making our experience even better.
One downside was the noise from the nearby highway, which could be bothersome at times. We had to keep the windows closed to minimize the sound.

Great location with Safeway across the street and just a short walk to the Spit. The Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center is right nearby, adding a lot to the stay. The room was pretty nice, although the hotel signage made it a bit hard to find since the colors blended together. The upgrade to a suite was absolutely a nice surprise, despite my grandson having to sleep on a hide-a-bed, which wasn’t ideal. Moving the coffee maker into the bathroom was a hassle as well. I appreciated having a private bedroom, but the layout had its inconveniences, especially with needing to walk through my room to access the bathroom. Staff were helpful during our visit, but there were moments, like the maid walking in unannounced, that could have been more respectful. Overall, loved the amenities around and the spaciousness of the room, but some adjustments in staff communication and room layout would enhance the experience.
